The envelope is oscillating, with an average display motion at the top and bottom. This indicator is similar to Bollinger Bands, which uses standard deviation to adjust the bands. Instead of using standard deviation, mega channels use the True Range (ATR) range to adjust the channel distance. Channels usually determine the two real scale scales above and below the 20-day EMA. Determines the moving average for guidance and the True Range range. Mega channels are a sub-index process used to reverse the detection by breaking the channel and channel direction. Channels can also be used to identify excessive buying and selling levels, when the trend is smooth.
Indicators based on channels, bands, and envelopes include most pricing measures. Therefore, moving up or down the channel lines attracts attention because it is relatively rare. The process often begins with a strong movement in one direction or another. The explosion at the top of the upper canal line shows tremendous force, while the immersion below the lower canal line shows tremendous weakness. Such a strong movement can signal the end of one process and the beginning of another.
Using the moving average as the base, the mega channels are the following index trend. As with moving averages and trend index indicators, mega channels weaken the price. Determines the direction of the moving average of the channel path. In general, there is a downward trend when the channel moves down, while the upward trend is higher when the channel moves. This process is smooth when the channel is moving.
Strengthening the channel and breaking above the high trend line can indicate the beginning of an upward trend. Channel stagnation and breaking below the trend line can indicate the beginning of a downward trend. Sometimes the strong trend does not fluctuate between channel lines after breaking the channel and prices. Such trading ranges are shown with relatively smooth moving averages. The channel boundaries are then used to identify excessive trading levels for commercial purposes.
